I am moved. I am again away from home, at my granny’s, because she has a broken leg this time, and I can’t go on tumblr. I don’t have internet if I don’t use my phone as router and this is the first time I use the tumblr app and my phone memory is too little, so I’ll probably erase the app soon BUT.
I WANT TO THANK YOU. Because seeing that someone still reads my blog, and my recs, really makes me proud. And happy. Because right now, here, I dread to say, that I am not really happy. So THANK YOU. Wow. I’m sure you’ve all seen this girl’s fantastic tardis dress floating around here the last week or so. She hand painted the inside and everything, and she just looks plain great. But of course, I see it posted on facebook, and the slew of comments begin.
I don’t think it’s a mystery as to why I, as a bigger girl, spend the week before a convention crying because I’m so nervous about what people are going to say about me just because I want to dress up and have fun like everyone else. And there is something really, really fucking wrong with that.
I’d like to see these assholes make a dress that beautiful and look half as good in it
May I also add that not everything has to be sexy when it comes to cosplay
not to mention that if it was a “sexy” cosplay she would probably be called a slut and shamed for her outfit by the same people who are doing this.
Honestly, the dress is great, she even made an hat! and the idea is pure genius! I have seen many tardis dresses on the internet but this really deserves an award because of the awesome ‘bigger in the inside’ thing! not everyone could have thought something like that and she did! I don’t think this deserves bad comments in general. Also the necklace and the details on the drawing inside *dies of envy* I can’t say anything on her costume, I can’t find flaws on her too. She’s perfect. And if people comments badly on her I’m sure it’s envy, or stupidity because, look at the comments! doing a sexy cosplay? why would a girl do that? to be drooled over by guys at cons? to be molested there? I don’t think that is fun. I would rather pass a day dressed like a lady-tardis and slack around with my friends, talking about fandoms and morally unacceptable ships.
It’s sad that I can think of it this way and still being insulted or commented badly by guys at cons, but I really think cosplaying is for everyone, that every girl, boy, grown man or woman can do it. Ok the result may change if you are slim or fat but this doesn’t change the fact that you put every effort on it, that you sewn by hand everything, that you found the right materials, that you stayed up late to finish it on time, that you prepared everything without your parents knowing it, and because of this, for just one day a year, one fucking day, you deserve going out in that costume, mask, outfit and not be mocked about it. Because you don’t need the courage to go out, it’s not a bad thing. You need everybody to just shut up and think about your effort, and be proud and happy for you, because cosplaying is not fucking easy, and God only knows the time you stayed up late just THINKING how to solve problems and stuff, but in the end you did it and this is the great thing, the thing that will always remain in your memory: the great day you had in that costume.

I was like “wow I like!” then I saw Derek’s tattoo and I started screeching
“So,” Stiles says conversationally. “That Hale guy. What’s up with him?”
His dad gives him one of his patented looks. The one that says I don’t know what you’re up to, but I sure as hell know you’re up to something. Stiles ignores it like a pro, busying himself with the salad he’s putting together. Cucumbers are very important, full of vitamins and stuff, and the topic of Derek Hale pales in comparison.
